our story
Flora & Min started when I was seven years old…
Making beaded bracelets on a beach in Greece with my sister & mum, I discovered a passion for designing and making jewellery pieces.
During the coronavirus lockdown in 2020, ideas formed for a small business called ‘Blue Wave Jewellery’ from which I received over 1,500 sales. However, I was ready for something more & to share my products with a larger audience.
Forward to 2022, I decided to create Flora & Min. Designing and creating hand beaded jewellery pieces to share with everyone is what I love to do!
Our aim is that everyone can wear our jewellery all-day, everyday. Therefore, we use 18 & 24 karat gold plated findings and all our jewellery undergoes thorough quality checks. We make our pieces in small-batch quantities and everyone who purchases something from us receives a unique piece.
What does our name mean?
Flora & Min was chosen as our pieces are inspired by beautiful nature & being outdoors - so we came-up with Flora!
The second part of the name was inspired by my lovely cat called Minnow, usually shortened to Min - (Say hello to her below!) x
